Ashley Hinshaw; Topher Grace’s Wife Shows Support to Victims After Danny Masterson Sentenced

Topher Grace’s wife, Ashley Hinshaw, has spoken out after her husband’s former “That 70’s Show” co-star Danny Masterson was sentenced to jail for sexual assault. “To every rape victim who is traumatized by witnessing society debate and focus their attention on what is going to happen to the RAPIST… I see you,” Hinshaw, 34, said on Friday, September 8, through her Instagram Story.

Danny Masterson was sentenced to 30 years to life in jail earlier this week after being found guilty in May of raping two women in the early 2000s. Danny appeared in the hit sitcom That ’70s Show in the height of his career, and in the aftermath of his conviction, several of his fellow cast members have made their own remarks about his sentence.

When Netflix debuted the sequel series, That ’90s Show, starring Laura Prepon, Topher Grace, Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher, and Wilmer Valderrama, all eyes were back on the entire cast of That ’70s Show — particularly Danny Masterson, who portrayed Steven Hyde on the Fox comedy series from 1998 to 2002,

“I have denied the outrageous allegations against me since day one. Law enforcement investigated these claims more than 15 years ago and found them to be without merit,” Masterson said in a December 2017 statement to Us Weekly.

In this regard, we recently discovered that Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis both provided letters in support for Danny’s leniency before his sentencing. In his letter, Ashton referred to Danny as a “role model” and stated that he does “not believe he is an ongoing harm to society,” finally requesting that Danny receive a lower term since “having his daughter raised without a present father would be a tertiary injustice in and of itself.”

“I wholeheartedly vouch for Danny Masterson’s exceptional character and the tremendous positive influence he has had on me and the people around him,” Mila said in her letter. His commitment to living a drug-free life and genuine concern for others make him an amazing role model and friend.” she added.

Danny’s That ’70s Show co-star Topher Grace has yet to make a public remark on the punishment, but his wife Ashley appears to have. Ashley posted a slide on her Instagram Story with a message of solidarity for survivors of sexual assault
